THE Mission Statement OF A TOASTMASTERS CLUB IS:

The mission of a Toastmaster Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

History

Toastmasters International began in 1924 in California. Since its inception, more than three million men and women have benefited from its communications and leadership programs.  For more information on Toastmasters International, please visit www.toastmasters.org

Our Club 28 was founded in 1933 and was chartered in 1947 and remains...

the "Oldest Club East of the Rockies"

The Phoenix Newsletter section of our Website goes into more history of Club #28

Guests are always welcome! You may visit as many times as you wish without becoming a member but to enjoy the benefits and develop your communications skills you will want to get started right away.  Guests are encouraged to participate in Table Topics to give you a taste of impromptu communication.  You are given the option to participate, it's not a requirement.
